Fancy Dress competition held for tiny tots in IGGS

Chandrapur – Indira Gandhi Garden School (IGGS) located in Ramnagar area of ​​the city organized a fancy dress competition for tiny-tot students of Pre-primary section. Around 80 children enthusiastically participated in the competition wearing attractive costumes.

In the past two years during the Corona era, children had left both their childhood and their school behind. ‘Fancy dress competition’ was an attempt to build their enthusiasm and help them practice their stage presentation. Students of Nursery, LKG and UKG took part in the competition. LKG children were given the theme of ‘Bollywood’ and UKG students were given the theme of ‘Leader of the country’ for the costumes in the competition

Dressed in different costumes, the children enthralled all the attendees. Children of UKG performed dressed as Shivaji Maharaj, Rani of Jhansi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Lokmanya Tilak, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar etc. LKG kids dressed up Bollywood stars like Dharmendra and Basanti of ‘Sholay’, Anarkali and Salim of ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, Madhuri Dixit of ‘Tejaab’, Amitabh Bachchan of ‘Shahanshah’, Vaijanti Mala of ‘Jewel Thief’ won the heart of the audiance.

Assistant teachers Ashwini Burdkar and Nutan Pidurkar shouldered the responsibility of judges for the competition. Pre-Primary teachers Sharda Therkar and Vidya Mathankar conducted the proceedings. Teacher Swati Selvate proposed vote of thanks. Parents worked hard to dress their children in costumes according to given theme. All the pre-primary teachers worked tirelessly to make the competition successful. The prize distribution of this competition will be carried out during independence day programmme.
